The rate and occurrence of Covid-19 amongst the aged is alarming. Nevertheless, young adults are not free from this virus.
The aged can be out of strength, but young adults are full of strength, thus it is our duty to rise up and fight for the safety of everyone amidst this pandemic.
As young adults, we could do the following to fight against this deathly virus:
More of online work than offline work
As young adults, it’s our duty to emphasize on more of online work than on offline work. This is due to our expertise in handling modern technology.
Young adults are generally experts when it comes to modern technology ( especially applications), thus, I advocate we put in our expertise to reduce physical contact, thereby suppressing the Corona virus.
Operation wear your face mask
Wearing a facemask constantly can be so unbreathable at times. Most often, one is usually tempted to remove them completely or keep them on our chin or neck. Well, that is not good.
I beseech all young adults out there to show an example by always putting on their face mask correctly inorder to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Protect our loved ones
I’ve noticed, many people wear their mask only when interacting with strangers but when they are with family or meet a relative they tend to remove the mask. Why is it so?
As strangers have the right to be protected, so does our loved ones. We are to protect them by wearing our facemask when talking to them, apply our hand sanitizer, going with the entire family for covid-19 checking and protect ourselves when we are out of the house.
Life- saving innovations
Young adults need to start thinking of ways to develop life-saving innovations. Let’s think about those in the hospital, in isolation centres, our loved ones, let’s look how the world is crumbling: It can be life saving innovations, medical innovations, scientific and Even religious intervention. No matter the type, as long as it can help the world, it’ll be great.
The world needs us, so let us not disappoint the world. It’s time to rise up and fight. Truth be told, the virus isn’t showing any signs of going away. We need to double our efforts.
